The Womb of Salvation

Image
This writing is a short musing on Salvation History seen as a birthprocess. ✓ Salvation History starts right after the Fall of Adam & Eve, which happened because Adam didn't take his responsibility: first instead of intervening when Eve ate of the forbidden fruit, he let himselve be seduced (Gen 3:6) and afterwards he even put the blame on his wife (Gen 3:12). However, before they are pointed out the consequences (Gen 3:16-17), a Woman is promised to be the adversary of the Serpent (the Dragon from Revelation) even to crush his head (Gen 3:15). Moreover, a Saviour would be born from the Woman's Womb, to be the Opposer of all evil sproutings. So the New Eve brought forth the New Adam and has a special task in Redemption (the Co-operatrix to the New Covenant, the Queen-mother who sits on the right hand of the Saviour in his Kingdom cf  1 Kings 2:19, the Woman clothed with the Sun in Rev 12:1)! ∗ The next phase of Salvation History is the Covenant with Noah and his family with...

On Life, the Universe and Everything

Let's have a bit of nerdy spiritual fun here{;-)  The post title reflects the Ultimate Question from H2G2 (as fans call it). Something like: what to do with Life or specifically our individual daily Choices? or what Purpose does our existence have? The book says that after finding the Answer ( 42 ), they realised that that only has meaning if we know the Specific Question. Like in the sense of: how exactly should we strive for Happiness? The book suggests further that the Answer and the Question can't exists simultaneously in the same Universe , something like: to determine its meaning is the actual purpose of Everything !?  Pretty much at the end, the Question ” what is six multiplied by nine? ” is found; something must have gone horribly wrong! Or perhaps ’nonsense’ is the Answer (eh Question?) / it's not about being logical, but about thinking outside of the cage? That ’logic’ applied to 42 itself could say that the Answer is: (the sum of the marks...

Paradise

How would the world have been if Adam&Eve had never eaten of the forbidden tree? That could have been because they had free will, right?! In his Cosmic Trilogy CS Lewis already speculated on unfallen worlds. God's plan for creation would have been fulfilled, but what was that plan actually? Let's try to speculate a bit ourselves on living in Paradise... ✓ To start with, we would all have been naked; man as a soul-unity of body and spirit doesn't have to hide certain parts. Clothes only became necessary to protect our personhood against objectivation. Our soul-body doesn't automatically point one to our spirit-soul anymore as the gigantic porn industry clearly shows. So much for the hippie ideal, LOL ✓ Secondly, there would have been no suffering, violence, diseases or disasters. God's essence is Love and out of Love He created a perfectly harmonious world. Would you want your loved ones to suffer? So God didn't order any 'struggle for existen...
